Own a piece of movie history with the gnarly “Spectre” SVX Defender. The highly- customized Defender is going up for sale at an auction in September at Sotheby’s.
It took a few upgrades to be truly Bond worthy . Massive tires were mounted to Bead-locked rims, requiring huge fender flairs. Then there is the upgraded Recaro interior and, of course, the unused thick tow rope.
However, there is a slight problem. The “Spectre Defender” is built using a 2014 model year Defender 110. As such, it is not eligible for import into Canada until 2029. At least, not to be registered for use on public roads.
